Some Lesser Known Facts About Dhruv Vikram

  • In childhood, he used to watch his father’s films and gradually, he developed an interest in acting.

  • While he was in school, he started making Dubsmash videos and YouTube videos. He even directed an English short film ‘Goodnight Charlie.’
  • In 2004, he was offered a role in the Tamil film ‘M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi’ (2004), however, he could not work in the film.
  • He also received an offer to act in the 2008 Tamil film ‘Pasanga,’ but Dhruv’s father did not want him to work in the films at that time.
  • In 2019, he made his debut with the Tamil film ‘Adithya Varma’ which was a remake of the Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy.’ The film was also remade in Hindi with the name ‘Kabir Singh.’

  • In an interview, he shared that he had watched Arjun Reddy 50-60 times before working on the film ‘Adithya Varma.’ He donated the fees received from the film to the Kerala CM’s relief fund.
  • He has acted in a few other Tamil films like ‘Varmaa’ (2020) and ‘Mahaan’ (2022).
