• He was brought up in Kansas City in Kansas.

• He had keen interest in sports since childhood, he used to play football a lot. He has played NCAA Division 1 football for the Oklahoma State University Cowboys.

• In 2015, he began taking boxing classes and later went on to teach boxing classes in 2017.

• Anthony shared an incident of when he was in Coffeyville Community College, he was taking his first acting class where he had to learn a monologue during the first week of class.  He gained interest in the process of preparing to do the monologue, acting and learning to find the character. This helped him gain interest in acting and he decided to pursue it as a professional career.

• In 2015, he played the role of Deputy Mike Newsome in the anthology slasher TV series show Scream.

• In 2016, he appeared in the TV series Silicon Valley’s 9th episode aired on HBO. He portrayed the role of Douglas.

• He has also played roles in TV series including It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, N.C.I.S. Los Angeles, Looking, and Fuller House among others, and Station 19 (2019).

• He has appeared in a few episodes of the TV series How to Get Away with Murder. He has portrayed the character of Noah in the series.

• In March 2020, he joined the cast of the popular Tv series Grey’s Anatomy, where he portrayed the role of Dr. Winston Ndugu.

• He is an avid dog lover. He has a pet dog.
