  • He was influenced by the ideas and policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during his education.
  • In 1994, Krishan Pal Gurjar won the Corporation Councilor election as a BJP candidate and became the party’s State Minister.
  • In 1996, he was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Mewla-Maharajpur constituency in Haryana. He won the seat in the next two terms.
  • Krishan Pal Gurjar served as Transport Minister in Bansi Lal’s government from 1996 to 1999.
