• During his college days, Krishan Pal Gurjar’s interest in politics grew, leading him to actively participate in student politics and become the General Secretary of the college student union.

• He was influenced by the ideas and policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during his education.

• In 1994, Krishan Pal Gurjar won the Corporation Councilor election as a BJP candidate and became the party’s State Minister.

• In 1996, he was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Mewla-Maharajpur constituency in Haryana. He won the seat in the next two terms.

• Krishan Pal Gurjar served as Transport Minister in Bansi Lal’s government from 1996 to 1999.

• On 9 July 2009, he was appointed BJP state President of Haryana.

• In 2014, Krishan Pal Gurjar contested the general elections from the Faridabad constituency in Haryana and won. He became the Member of Parliament for Faridabad after defeating his opponent Avtar Singh Bhadana by 466,873 votes.

• In May 2014, he became the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping, later changing to Social Justice and Empowerment.

• In 2019, Krishan Pal Gurjar won the general elections from the Faridabad constituency in Haryana. He defeated his opponent by 644,000 votes and became a member of the 17th Lok Sabha.

• He continued working as a Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in the Second Modi Ministry in May 2019.

  

• In 2021, Krishan Pal Gurjar was appointed as a Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries.

• In 2024, he re-contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Faridabad constituency in Haryana and won. He became a cabinet minister in the third term of PM Narendra Modi.
