Some Lesser Known Facts About Rishaab Chauhaan

• He was born and brought up in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. 

• His father, Ashok Kumar Chauhan is the director of “Greenway Modern Senior Secondary School” and his mother, Mala Chauhan is the Principal of the same school.

• Since his childhood, he was passionate about cricket and to get training in the sport, he moved to Delhi from Roorkee. While in Delhi, he got selected in Delhi’s cricket team. However, after being suggested by one of his friends to try his hand in acting, he moved to Mumbai from Delhi where after a long struggle, he got a Hindi film “Gang of Sherali ” in which he played the lead role.

• He is a black belt in martial arts.

• During the 2017 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly elections, he extensively campaigned for the Indian National Congress.

• In 2017, he received the “Young Achiever Award” by the Rotary Club District 3080. 

• In 2019, he appeared in the Hindi film “Marne Bhi Do Yaaron;” the film was directed by Krishna Abhishek‘s wife, Kashmira Shah.

• On 3 November 2019, he appeared on “The Kapil Sharma Show” along with Kashmira Shah to promote his film “Marne Bhi Do Yaaron.” 

• Rishaab Chauhaan is an avid animal lover. He had a pet cat named Chanel. 

• He is a fitness freak, he goes to the gym regularly.
