  One thing that I have never understood is the whole leather and glass monochrome minimalism. I like colour, especially greens and purples. They always find their way into spaces that I design. So black and white is a no-no for me. I like to mix and match and throw together a lot of different elements. The less is more approach just does not work with my sense of aesthetics.” ^[25]India Today

• In an interview, Tanya shared her choices of decor which won’t be expensive. She believes that expensive products do not make the place stylish. Tanya Gyani said,
  

  Expensive products don’t make a stylish home. Sometimes there are clients who insist on having designer brands. It’s the ‘my neighbour has a Fendi sofa, so will I attitude’. You will not find any pricey decor label in my own house though.” ^[26]India Today
