Some Lesser Known Facts About Alyla Browne

• Alyla moved to LA with her family when she was only six weeks old where her father started a plastic bottle recycling plant.

• Alyla spent a few years watching her sisters enjoy acting classes at the Beverly Hills Playhouse but was too young to join them.

• At the age of six, Alyla returned to Australia and began working in TV commercials. Her mother helped her start auditioning for small commercial roles through the Australian casting service StarNow.

• Alyla did her first acting course with The Audition Technique in 2019.

• Apart from her film career, Alyla is a passionate advocate for animals and conservation. She loves hanging out with her dog, chickens, and cat and is a keen gardener and roller skater. Alyla also owned a pet jumping spider, which she released later.

  

• Alyla has appeared in various English-language films and TV shows. Her notable roles are, the daughter of Masha Dmitrichenko (played by Nicole Kidman) in Nine Perfect Strangers (2021), young Alithea Binnie in Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022),  young Alice Hart in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart (2023), and Verity in the Australian film The Secret Kingdom (2023).

  

•  Alyla lent her voice to the character Maria Robotnik in the animated film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024), a Sega sequel. She worked in it with renowned actors like Jim Carrey and Keanu Reaves.

• Alyla’s film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival where she received praise for her performance as a young Furiosa.

  

• In 2024, Alyla was nominated for the Young Artist Awards in the Best Performance in a Streaming Series: Leading Youth Artist category and the Logie Awards in the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent category.
